If you are hungry and eager to make huge impacts, it’s your opportunity to be our sales hire. You’ll start as an individual contributor, sign annual contracts as quickly as possible, work closely with the CEO to solidify a high-performing sales process, prioritize product features that will drive more sales, and help recruit and manage the sales team as we grow.
As the salesperson you'll:
- You’re a hunter and there’s no marketing to get you leads. You will identify companies who would be a good fit for Percept.AI, building lead lists, finding contacts and selling the Percept.AI service. This a challenge, and also an opportunity with no ceiling in this role.
- Build relationships with new prospects. Find ways to creatively reach decision makers at target accounts, and close them.
- Work closely with the CEO to build the playbook and optimize the process.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams on sales messaging and feature requests.
We're looking for smart, resourceful generalists with a passion for startups and AI. Some things we consider critical to being the successful salesperson:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a strong academic track record.
- 1 - 2 years of SDR and sales experience. Have demonstrated your success in past SDR roles, meeting and exceeding quota, and showing evidence of stellar performance.
- You’re a natural problem solver, excited to learn, continuously improve, and iterate on a sales process to guide customers through their evaluation.
- You’re hungry, gritty, a team player, and want to win. There will be plenty of challenges and failure.
- You’re a strong communicator. Clear and concise writing. Structured thinking.
- Curiosity/ interest in the AI and customer support space. A rudimentary understanding of what we do.
- SaaS & startup experience preferred.
